A Solar Panel Company Just Launched Eight Electric Bikes in Pakistan, With a Feature Nobody Else Has
Inverex, a name most Pakistanis know from solar panels and inverters, has entered the electric two wheeler market under the brand Inverex GO. The launch is large: four electric motorcycle families, four electric scooters, an electric rickshaw and a loader, all at once. What makes this launch worth paying attention to is not the size of the lineup, it is one specific feature. On the top variant of three of the four motorcycle families, you do not plug in and wait. You swap the battery for a charged one in about 30 seconds, the same idea as swapping a gas cylinder.

Lite, Pro or Swap: What the Three Tiers Actually Mean
Across Charlie, Roar and Volterra, the naming is not marketing fluff, it maps directly to hardware. Lite gets a 1,500W motor, roughly 100 km claimed range and a 60 km/h top speed, charging in 2 to 3 hours. Pro steps up to a 2,000W motor, around 130 km range and 70 km/h, with 15A fast charging in the same 2 to 3 hour window. Swap is the one worth understanding properly: a 3,000W motor, a claimed 150 km range, a 90 km/h top speed, and instead of waiting to charge, you exchange the depleted battery for a charged one at a swap station in about 30 seconds.
Battery swapping only works if the swap stations exist near you
The 30 second swap is a genuine advantage over sitting through a multi hour charge, and it directly answers the biggest complaint riders have about switching from petrol. But that advantage is entirely dependent on Inverex actually building out a swap station network in your city. A Swap model with no nearby swap station is just a motorcycle with a battery you cannot remove as easily as advertised. Ask your dealer specifically where the nearest working swap point is before paying extra for this variant.
Should You Buy From a Solar Company's First Motorcycle Lineup
Inverex built its reputation on solar inverters and panels, not vehicles. That does not mean the bikes are bad, but it does mean there is no riding history to judge them against, the way you could judge a Honda or even a newer name like GPX that at least specialises in motorcycles. Three practical things to check before buying: whether the specific model and colour you want is actually in stock at a dealer near you, what the real battery warranty terms are in writing rather than in a press release, and whether service and spare parts support exists in your city today, not just promised for later.
Inverex GO also launched an electric rickshaw called Hamrahee and a loader called Taqatwar alongside the bikes and scooters. If you are weighing an electric rickshaw or loader for business use, our rickshaw and loader price guide covers what electric commercial three wheelers cost across brands and what actually changes versus a petrol or LPG one.
